Our Funder
The Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) is part of the UK's Official Development Assistance (ODA) which aims to support research that addresses challenges faced by the Global South. GCRF funds multiple Hubs of researchers to tackle important issues including the South Asian Nitrogen Hub. GCRF is part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) that directs UK research funding. UKRI does this through various research councils including the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) which SANH falls under. SANH must adhere to certain directions of these organisations and report back on progress and evaluation.
